Customize your domain
Learn how to replace your default domain with a custom one or purchase a new domain.
Your Studio account includes a default domain used to publish your Spaces.
For example: https://awesome-creator.ir.world
The platform offers you flexible options to personalize your domain and enhance the visitor experience.
The My Domains page in your Dashboard lets you manage your domain settings. You can edit, purchase, or rename domains, including your default domain.
Follow the steps below to configure your domain.
You can connect a domain you already own to align your Studio URL with your brand identity.
Click Add a Custom Domain
This opens a modal with domain options.
Select Use an existing domain and click Continue
Enter your domain in the text field.
Ensure to include a top-level domain (TLD), such as .com, .net, or .org.
ℹ️ Use a domain only, not a subdomain
Do not enter a subdomain (e.g., sub.domain.com). Use your main domain (e.g., domain.com). You can assign a subdomain later if needed.
The Studio begins verifying and validating your domain. Click Continue after validation.
Choose to use your root domain or a subdomain:
- Use root domain: Example – my-domain.com
- Use subdomain: Example – new-subdomain.my-domain.com
💡 Pro tip: Choosing the right option
Use a root domain to create a standalone identity for your Spaces, or a subdomain to integrate with an existing business presence.
After selecting your option, the system will verify ownership and configure your domain. Follow the prompts to complete the setup.
✅ Your domain is now correctly configured
Your domain is now active and ready to use with iR Studio. You can set your new domain as the default. See Update your default domain for steps.
If you don't have a domain yet, you can purchase one directly from the Studio interface. Follow these steps:
Click Add a Custom Domain.
This opens a modal with domain options.
Select Purchase a new domain and proceed through the steps.
A domain search modal will appear:
Enter your desired domain and click Search.
This displays available domains related to your input.
Complete your domain purchase on the external site.
✅ You have successfully purchased your new domain
After your purchase is complete, you can set your new domain as the default. See Update your default domain for steps.
If you want to change the default subdomain (default-subdomain.ir.world) assigned to your Studio account, follow these steps:
Click Add a Custom Domain.
This opens a modal with domain options.
Select Edit ir.world subdomain and click Continue.
A field to enter your new subdomain appears.
Enter a new subdomain and wait for validation.
Click Configure when the subdomain is confirmed as available.
✅ Your domain has now been renamed
Please wait a few seconds while the system finalizes the connection.
You can choose which domain appears by default when someone visits one of your published Spaces. Follow these steps to update your default domain:
Open domain settings
Click the three dots menu next to the domain you want to set as default.
Select Make default.
Confirm your selection.
✅ Your default domain has been updated
This domain is now the default for all Spaces you publish.
